All available WiFi networks will appear under “choose a network” from where you have to locate and choose the network you want to join.

Important Note:- if in case you can’t see any available WiFi network option on your iPhone 4S, it would mean either its a “private network” or a “closed network”. such networks want you to provide the name, and you can never join them without entering the name.

2. verify password

There are also hosts of networks those require a password to join, such networks are called password-protected WiFi networks and are indicated by a padlock icon Name: padlock icon Name: padlock icon. try the following tips if you are receiving errors while joining such networks:

a. type carefully and a little slowly to avoid mistakes while entering the password

b. if you are not able to tap “join”, it indicates that the password you have entered is too short for that WiFi network

c. if you are confused about the password whether its correct or not, check with the Wi-Fi network administrator

3. Check signals

Check the Wi-Fi signal strength in the status bar or Wi-Fi menu. if you find poor signal strength (only one or two signals), and you are still making efforts or not able to locate your WiFi network, try this:-

a. try to move closer to the Wi-Fi access point or router so that you could get good signal strength.

b. avoid solid walls (concrete), microwave ovens, and all such things that can affect a Wi-Fi signal.

c. now please check your connection by using Safari to open a web page.

4. Verify the WiFi network

When everything is all right, you have strong wifi signals and all, but still you can’t access the internet– in this condition, please verify the WiFi network you are using.

. make sure you are connected to the correct Wi-Fi network. please reconnect if you think its not the correct one.

. if you are having problems or you can’t differentiate between your network and others, in other words if you can’t identify your WiFi

network–contact the ISP or manufacturer for assistance in naming your Wi-Fi network.

5. Reset Network settings

Now you have to reset your network settings, to do so tap settings > General > Reset > Reset network settings.
“When the device restarts, try to locate and join the Wi-Fi network again”
