A100 Screen Problems

I've had my A100 for a few months now and have absolutely loved it. About 3 weeks ago, the screen glitched out and started acting as if I were randomly swiping/pressing the screen. I gave the tablet a reset and had no problems again until a couple days ago. Now whenever I boot up the tablet, it automatically acts that way, making it almost impossible to get anything accomplished. And on the rare occasions it does boot up normally and without problems, it will start acting up again if the screen goes into sleep turns off (either automatically or by quickly tapping the power button).

I've given the tablet a factory restore (at the suggestion of Acer's Customer service) and it seems to help the problem for a short while. Has anyone experienced this, and if so is there a fix? I've lost the receipt and don't think I'll be able to return or RMA it.
