Hi Jesica mino, Nothing like that, a hard reset or factory reset does not remove android OS updates, only apps and personal data.

Thanks

A hard reset will reset the current version of the Android OS. That means if you had Android 4.0 when you first bought the phone, and have upgraded to Android 4.1, a factory reset will preserve version 4.1 of Android.
