Razr M signal issues...antenna problems

I switched to Razr M recently and almost everyone with whom I am talking over phone told my Voice goes choppy sometimes. And suddenly it goes OK !!!... So I did a quick check on the signal strength by going in settings -> Status -> Network Type and strength.

Turns out there the signal drops my more than 15 dBm if I hold the phone at certain position especially if the bottom left corner of the phone is covered ( After holding phone in right hand and face up)....Is there any solution to the issue

RE: Razr M signal issues...antenna problems

I tried this and while I would admit the signal is better, it is far from solid unless I am within 10 feet of the router. My Droid X and Chrome CR-48 have full signal in the master bedroom (just off the main room where the router is kept) but the Razr M struggles and constantly drops in and out of wifi connection. I still, even with my FIOS router set to G only, end up turning off wifi and use 4g out of frustration. My husband still has a Droid X and when you lay the phones side by side the difference in wifi signal strength is almost laughable... well, for him anyway. He has no problems.

RE: Razr M signal issues...antenna problems

I really don't pay much attention to the signal as long as I could make a call. However I'm working in an area with poor service (inside a building) and decided to try my RAZR Maxx. I'm also noticing using the hotspot it was on 3G very often rarely seeing 4G service.

Switched my SIM to my RAZR Maxx and see a big difference in making calls, virturally no calls dropping, and data is on 4G where I'd only get 3G on my M.
So please check you phone. Thanks..
