Overheating issue Nexus 7(2013) - 10-14-2013, 01:42 PM,

Hi please help me, when I play psx emulator it really gets hot and it gets hotter when it is charging.

Not sure if this is a general issue or specific problem to mine.

I also want to know, is there any apps that could monitor the temperature of my nexus 7(2013)?

Does anyone knows any way to solve this or fix this issue? I'm kinda worried if it would one day explode.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

RE: Overheating issue Nexus 7(2013) - 10-14-2013, 01:46 PM,

Your Nexus 7 may get warm while you're using it for a long time in phone calls, web browsing or charging etc. If the operating temperature of your device makes you feel uncomfortable, please stop any operations on your phone.

Please contact its customer service for further asistance.

To know the device temperature, There are a number of free apps like "Battery" in the PlayStore that will report battery temp and other stats.

Thank you, I am happy to help Smile

If your device under warranty then you should try the hard reset operation on it.

Hard reset operation perform when you are experiencing severe issues with your Nexus 7(2013) , you can reset it back to factory default. Restoring the phone to its original settings will cause you to lose all of your data, but if your phone is crashing or freezing a lot, this may be the only way to fix it.

Hope can solve your issue.
