How do I send an animated gif using whatsapp. Everytime I try , the other person ends up receiving it as just a standard still picture.
Please guide me .

You can't do this it's only possible with blackberry messanger.

Whatsapp doesn`t allow people to send animated GIF, but there is an alternate to this - You need to convert the gif in to a video, because whatsapp allowed sending video.

Step 2: Upload the gif image or put the link of the gif.

Step 3: Wait a moment for the website to convert it.

Step 4: Download the gif imagee from the website.

Step 5: Put it to your phone. 6. Send it to whatsapp.

Hi friend, If you want to send animated GIF image then you can use BBM android app. It has feature to send GIF image and you can set animated gif image to your profile and can't be on whatsapp.

Why doesn't provide this facility on whatsapp???
