Sony Xperia M hard reset: A hard reset may help like following example-
☆ With a blank or frozen screen
☆ Apps crashing or freezing
☆ Keypad/touch screen problems
☆ Can't hear, device making noises
☆ Forgotten Pattern Lock
☆ Forgotten Phone Lock
☆ Forgotten User Code
☆ Can't make or receive calls and device won't sync.

Here's some basic steps, how to hard reset your Sony Xperia M

But you need to consider before, that the steps to reset or hard reset your android phone or tab, all the existing data in the internal memory or your Sony Xperia M's memory will be lost. It is suggested you should first back up all the data that you think is important in another memory


Before running, watch the following checks:
1. Please Maintain 80% Battery Charge of Sony Xperia M and then turned OFF before beginning.
2. Save your important data to a safe location or external device, hard drive, raid system media or SD card.

4. Back up emails.

Step 1: Turn the power off

Step 2: Press and hold the VOLUME UP KEY and the POWER KEY for more than five seconds.

Step 3: . Now a menu gets appeared if you have correctly pressed both the key buttons together.

Step 4: . Follow the menu and click on “Reset Phone” option to reset your Sony Xperia M.


Now your Sony Xperia M has been restored at factory default

Step 1: Drag down the status bar and tap the settings icon

Step 2: Select Backup & reset

Step 3: Choose Factory data reset.

Step 4: Tap reset phone

Step 5: Choose Factory data reset.
