Conference call problem through Motorola Electrify

I have recently upgraded my Motorola Electrify from Android version 2.3.3 to Android version 2.3.4. Since then, I am having trouble in making conference call through it. When I try to switch between call, it hangs up and gives the error message “Unable to switch calls”. I can get back to normal mode only after disconnecting the call at the other end. How can I resolve this issue?

RE: Conference call problem through Motorola Electrify

Hi Rodel, can you try this sequence and see if not please follow these steps:

Step 1: During conversation with current member

Press Add Call -- this show the Dialer.
Step 2: Now you have to press Send on green phone icon and you should hear a new dialtone and now dial third member's 10 digit mobile number and press Send again.

Now as soon as hear third party answers,

Step 3: Now press Merge

Step 4: Now all three will be connected

Let me know if this works if not please explain it.
