Android: ADB Driver for HTC One X Reviewed by Members Rating: 20 Vote(s) - 2.75 Average 100 1

I have been debugging on an HTC Desire for which I had the ADB drivers. Now I have been forced to debugging on an HTC One X, but I can't find the driver anywhere. The standard HTC driver that used with my desire (Running Android 2.2) does not get recognized as the right driver for the One X (running Android ICS).

What are the other options that I have to enable launching and USB debugging on the HTC One X through Eclipse Helios ?

How to install Android Debug Bridge(ADB) Driver

If you are trying to use the USB drivers downloaded from the Android SDK, you will notice that they do not work with the HTC One X.

I even tried to modify the inf file in the USB drivers directory in my android sdk folder, but it wasn't working.

Instead, all you need to do is install the drivers via the HTCSync install file found on the SD card (click here to download), then you’re good to go Wink

Make sure you have USB Debugging mode turned on (Settings -> Applications -> Development)
